Making the standby system active - standalone operation

The standby system must be in the Sync Aborted state.

If the sync connection breaks between the active and standby clusters, and the active cluster is no longer reachable, you can configure the standby instance to become active and operate in standalone mode.

  1. Start an audit.
    From the Geo-Redundancy page of the standby system, click Start audit.
  2. Force the standby to become active, operating in standalone mode.
    From the Geo-Redundancy page of the standby system, click ForceStandalone.
