Purpose

This topic describes how to manage columns in the Lucent CM Explorer.

You can perform the following table operations:

Resize table columns

Sort table columns

Move columns

Select table columns entries

Please note that the resize, sort or move of table columns is not remembered. When starting a new session or changing a selection in the Lucent CM tree view, the standard columns display.

Reorder column

Perform the following steps to reorder the entries in a column:

If no arrow is visible in the column header, click the column header.

Result: A down arrow displays.

Click the column header to toggle between sorting high to low or low to high.

Result: The column entries re-order. The arrow in the column headers indicates how the column is sorted.

Resize column

Perform the following steps to resize a column:

Move your mouse icon to the end of the column header that you want to resize,

Result: A double-sided arrow appears (↔).

Click and hold your left mouse button and drag left or right to resize the columns.

Result: The column resizes.

Release the mouse button when the proper column size is reached.

Move column

Perform the following steps to move a column:

Click and hold your left mouse button on the column you want to move.

Move the column to the desired location and release the mouse button.

Result: The column drops into the new location.

Select column entries

Perform the following steps to select column entries:

To select:

One entry,

Click the entry row.

Multiple consecutive entries,¹

Click the first entry

Hold the Shift key and click the last entry.

Multiple non-consecutive entries,¹

Click the first entry

Hold the Ctrl key and click the other entries.

Notes:

1	Multiple selections are not always possible.

Result: The selected entries are highlighted.

Perform the actions you want to perform.

Important! Not all actions are allowed on multiple entries.
