The state of the low-speed OC-3/12/48 and the high-speed OC-12/48/192 ports can be set manually to not monitored (OOS). On OLIUs with multiple ports, the line state default is automatic (OOS-MA-AS). It is also possible to manually provision any equipped line to in-service (IS).
