Likely Cause

An upstream STS-N cross-connect error was made or a cross-connect was deleted.

An unprotected circuit pack failed - SA.

A protected circuit pack failed - NSA.

Visible Indication

Lighted CR, MJ, or MN LED on the SYSCTL faceplate (when the severity level is provisioned to Critical, Major, or Minor, respectively)

Action

Proceed to Procedure 5-74: Clear "inc. STSN" conditions/alarms.
