Procedure 7-2: Change your own password
Privilege level
You may login as a either a Privileged, Administration, General, Maintenance, or Reports Only user to complete this procedure.
Important!
Only users with a privileged or administration access code may change other user's passwords. See Procedure 7-3: Edit, delete, or enter a user's login.

Before you begin
Prior to performing this procedure, refer to Before you begin and Required equipment in this chapter.
Steps
Complete the following steps to change your own network element password.

From the System View menu, select Administration → Change Password to change your own password on an individual NE basis. Result: The Change Password window opens. |

Enter your old password, enter your new password, and then re-enter your new password for confirmation. Click OK. End of steps |
