The system has detected a loss-of-frame (LOF) condition in an incoming E1 signal. Basic frame alignment is lost when either three consecutive incorrect frame alignment signals are detected or three consecutive non frame alignment signals are detected. Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMXtend sends AIS downstream.
