Procedure 8-1: View performance monitoring (PM) thresholds

Overview

Use this procedure to view performance monitoring (PM) thresholds for ports or tributaries.

Privilege level

You must log in as a Privileged, General, Maintenance, or Reports Only user to view PM thresholds.

Before you begin

Prior to performing this procedure, refer to Before you begin and Required equipment in this chapter.

Steps

Perform the following steps to view PM thresholds.

From the System View menu, select either Performance → View Near-End PM Threshold or Performance → View Far-End PM Threshold, as required, then select the desired port rate or tributary rate.

Result:

The View ( ) Near-End PM Threshold or View ( ) PM Far-End Threshold window opens for the port or tributary rate selected.

View the parameters and threshold values. Click Close to exit.
