ptp1588MasterOper ationalModeChange |
The trap reports the value of ptp1588OperationalMode as part of the notification message. |
If the reported value is master(1) or slave(2), ensure that it is the intended operational mode of the system.
If the reported value is passive(3), the system has detected another 1588 master in the network. Ensure that this is the intended behavior of the system. If not, take corrective action to remove the other master in the network. |
1PPSStatusChange |
Indicates change in status of 1 Pulse Per Second (PPS) output signal. The status values are normal, degraded, Do Not Use (DNU). Normal implies that the 1 PPS output is traceable to a Primary Reference Clock (PRC); Degraded implies that the 1 PPS output has lost trace to a PRC and is in holdover state; DNU (Do Not Use) implies that the output cannot be used. |
1. If the 1 PPS status being reported is degraded or DNU, verify that the 1588 clock status is correct. Use the show ptp-1588 command.
2. Verify that the PRC is working at the 1588 Master node. |
T1/E1 Alarms MIB |
Traps for declaring LOS, AIS, SF, SD, RAI, OOL |
These traps indicate that the corresponding alarm is declared on the port due to loss of signal or faulty signal or specific pattern in the signal. |
