Description |
inc. VC4 AU-LOP inc. VC44C AU-LOP |
Likely Cause |
If this condition occurs on only one STMN line, the likely cause is failure of an STMN circuit pack at the near end or far end of the line. If the condition affects the same pointer in both STMN lines of an STMN interface, the cause could be unprotected failure of an VC cross-connected circuit pack in the adjacent network element or cross-connection mismatch between VCN. An unprotected line/port carrying service failed: SA. A protected line/port failed: NSA. |
Visible Indication |
Lighted CR/MJ or MN/ABN LED on SYSCTL faceplate a flashing FAULT LED on the alarmed circuit pack. |
Action |
Proceed to Procedure 5-38: Clear "inc. STSN/VCN" conditions/alarms. |
