Procedure 14-5.2: Provision differentiated services policy
Overview
Use this procedure to create a new or modify an existing differentiated service (DiffServ) policy.
The DiffServ policy is used to specify traffic conditioning actions, such as policing and marking, to apply to traffic classes.
Before you begin
Obtain the work instructions for this procedure.

Log in to the VLNC4x circuit pack being provisioned. |

From the Navigation menu, select QoS → Differentiated Services → Policy Configuration. Result: The DiffServ Policy Configuration screen appears. |

Enter the required parameters, then click Submit. |

From the Navigation menu, select QoS → Differentiated Services → Policy Summary and verify that the required parameters were provisioned correctly. Result: The DiffServ Policy Summary screen appears. End of steps |
