Use these procedures to manage fast facility protection (FFP) groups.

The system supports:

• Creation of Protection Group entities that associate a Working and a Protecting LSP. Bidirectional MEPS should be created and configured for both LSPs in the Protection Group.

• Deletion of Protection Group entities which disassociates the two previously associated Working and Protecting LSPs, keeping them unprotected. The traffic can remain on Working or Protecting LSP, depending on configuration

• Change to some configuration parameters for Protection Groups (Hold-Off Time, Wait-to-Restore Time).

• Retrieval of Protection Groups configuration.

• Operating or releasing the protection switch on the selected FFP Tunnel Protection Group.
