Procedure 11-2: Provision VLAN port configuration

- Overview

Use this procedure to:

  • Specify the VLAN ID assigned to untagged or priority tagged frames received on this port.

  • Specify how the port handles untagged and priority tagged frames.

  • Specify how the port handles tagged frames.

Obtain the work instructions for this procedure.

Log in to the VLNC40, VLNC42, or VLNC6x circuit pack being provisioned.

From the Navigation menu, select VLAN → Port Configuration.

Result:

The VLAN Port Configuration screen appears.

Enter the required parameters, then click Submit.

From the Navigation menu, select VLAN → Port Summary and verify that the required parameters were provisioned correctly.

Result:

The VLAN Status screen appears.
