From the Navigation menu, select Routing → IP → Configuration to enable and configure IP Routing on the switch. Enter the required parameters, then click Submit.

Parameters:

Default Time to Live - The computed TTL (Time to Live) of forwarding a packet from the local router to final destination. This is a display only field.

Routing Mode - This is the IP Routing Admin mode. Valid values are Enable or Disable.

IP Forwarding Mode - This enables or disables the forwarding of IP frames.

Maximum Next Hops - This is a display-only field.

Distance - The default distance for static routes. Valid values: an integer in the range of 1-255 or null. The default value is 1. A null entry deletes the default distance for static routes. In this case, each static route has its own distance.

Parameters:

Slot/Port - Select the interface for which data is to be displayed or configured.

IP Address - Enter the IP address for the interface.

Subnet Mask - Enter the subnet mask for the interface. This is also referred to as the subnet/network mask, and defines the portion of the interface's IP address that is used to identify the attached network.

Routing Mode - Setting this enables or disables routing for an interface. The default value is enable.

Administrative Mode - The Administrative Mode of the interface. The default value is enable.

Link Speed Data Rate - Physical link data rate of the interface. The unit is Mbps (Megabits per second). This is a display-only field.

Active State - Indicates whether the interface is active or inactive. This is a display-only field.

MAC Address - The burned in physical address of the specified interface. This is a display-only field.

IP MTU - The size of the largest IP packet that can be transmitted on the interface without fragmentation. Valid values: an integer in the range of 68 - 1500. The default value is 1500.
