Procedure 12-3: DHCP

This section allows the user to configure DHCP settings on the system.

From the Navigation menu, select Routing → DHCP Server → Pool Configuration to configure the DHCP server and client information. Enter the required parameters, then click Submit.

Parameters:

  • Pool Name: The DHCP address pool name on a DHCP server. An alphanumeric text string of 1-31 characters.

  • DNS Server Addresses: The IP Address list of the DNS servers (up to 8 unique entries) available to the DHCP client. Use the IPv4 address format with 4 dot-separated decimal values ranging from 0 to 255. IP address 0.0.0.0 is not a valid value.

From the Navigation menu, select Routing → DHCP Server → Pool Summary to display the summary information for all DHCP configured pools including the Pool Name and DNS Server Addresses.
