Before you begin

Important!

Command Line Interface (CLI) commands or the Web GUI is required to interface with the VLNC40/42/42B Ethernet Aggregator, VLNC60/61/62 Circuit Emulator, and VLNC64 Circuit Emulation Mini-Hub circuit packs.

Determine whether you will configure the switch for in-band or out-of-band connectivity.

Required equipment

All procedures in this chapter require that the following equipment is available:

Personal Computer (PC) and related cables specified in the procedures.
Wrist Strap
