Enter/Select the following parameters as required, then click Submit.
Parameters:

Serial Port Login Timeout (minutes) — Specifies how many minutes of inactivity should occur on a serial port connection before the switch closes the connection. Enter a number between 0 and 160. The factory default is 5. Entering 0 disables the timeout.

Baud Rate (bps) — Select the default baud rate for the serial port connection from the pull-down menu. You may choose from 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200 baud. The factory default is 9600 baud.

From the Line Config Mode, enter serial baudrate <rate_value> to provision the communication rate of the terminal interface. The supported rates are 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200. Default is 9600.

From the Line Config Mode, enter serial timeout <timeout_value> to specify the maximum connect time, in minute, that a serial console login will remain active without console activity. A value of 0 indicates that a console can be connected indefinitely. Range: 0 - 160. Default is 5.
