Why use IP/Optical Coordination?

IP/Optical Coordination enables the automatic discovery of cross-domain links between IP and optical networks. In addition, it realizes a fine-grained, multi-layer correlation of topology properties such as Shared Risk Groups (SRG) and latency to improve the IP service performance and resiliency. The data can be manually synchronized with other NSP functions, thereby achieving full integration.
