To configure NTP on a VPRN site
Note: NTP must be enabled on the base router before it can be configured on a VPRN site. See
To configure NTP on supported devices for information about configuring NTP on the 7705 SAR and 7750 SR.
Steps

Choose Manage→Service→Services from the NFM-P main menu. The Manage Services form opens.

Choose a VPRN service and click Properties. The VPRN Service (Edit) form opens.

On the service navigation tree, expand the Sites icon, right-click on a routing instance and choose Properties. The VPRN Site (Edit) form opens.

Set the NTP State parameter to Enabled.

Click on the NTP tab and configure the required parameters.

To create an authentication key:

Click on the Authentication tab.

Click Create. The Network Time Protocol Authentication (New Instance) form opens.

Configure the required parameters.

Save the changes and close the form.

To configure an NTP broadcast source:

Click on the Broadcast tab.

Click Create. The NTP Broadcast (New Instance) form opens.

Select a source interface (NTP Broadcast).

Configure the required parameters.

Save the changes and close the form.
