Unable to perform an action using the XML API

Steps

Check with your administrator to determine whether you have sufficient privileges to perform the action. You receive the message in Figure C-4, User security fault message if you are not assigned the appropriate scope of command to use the XML API.

Some actions are not available to an OSS application; for example, a GUI-specific action such as changing a display preference. For such an action, you must use a GUI client.
