vCPAA installation workflow for KVM

Stages
 

Copy the cpaa-vm.qcow2 image file to a directory on the host machine, for example: /var/lib/libvirt/images/. See the Virtual software configuration section for more information.


Create the vCPAA. See To create a vCPAA on a KVM hypervisor for more information.


Start the VM using the following command: virsh create /var/lib/libvirt/images/vcpaa.xml

Note: The above command is an example only. The actual command must reflect the directory in which the XML file was saved, and the name of the XML file.


Connect to the console port of the vCPAA using a Telnet session to the host.


If prompted, enter BOF data (management port IP address, static routes).
