Purpose
NSP NFM-P Microwave Radio User Guide describes how to discover, configure, and manage Wavence devices including the Wavence SA, Wavence MSS-1c, and Wavence MSS-O variants using NFM-P. The guide is intended for network planners, administrators, and operators and is to be used in conjunction with other guides in the NFM-P documentation suite where management of Wavence devices does not differ from other network elements. Nokia recommends that you review the entire NSP NFM-P Microwave Radio User Guide before you attempt to use NFM-P to manage Wavence devices.
Scope
The scope of this document is limited to the NFM-P application. Many configuration, monitoring, and assurance functions that can be accomplished from the NFM-P Java GUI are also delivered in NSP web-based applications accessible from the NSP Launchpad. Readers of this NFM-P guide should familiarize themselves with the capabilities of the NSP applications, which often offer more efficient and sophisticated features for network and service management. Help for all installed NSP applications is available in the NSP Help Center.
