How do I perform a diversity analysis?

Perform one of the following:

  1. Open IP/Optical Coordination, Network Map, then click the Diversity Analysis button. The Diversity Groups form opens.

  2. Open IP/Optical Coordination, Link Layer Interconnect, then click the Diversity Analysis button. The Diversity Groups form opens.

Specify the scope of the analysis.

Note: In order for a diversity analysis to be performed on IP Services, the services must be marked as “NSD managed” within NFM-P and must be riding over the following types of LSPs:

  • With pcep-report enabled, RSVP or Segment-Routed

  • With pcep-report disabled, only strict-hop RSVP LSPs for primary-path

Click START and monitor the Diversity Progress until completion, then select a diversity group from the list to view Group Details.

Click Download Previous Diversity Report to export the results as a .csv file.
