Overview
Why use IP/Optical Coordination?
Note: NSP Release 24.4 does not support integration with WS-NOC, regardless of version. Currently, integration with WS-NOC requires the use of CAS authentication mode, which NSP no longer supports. Integration with WS-NOC will be restored in a future release using OAUTH2 authentication mode.
IP/Optical Coordination enables the discovery and management of cross-domain links between IP and optical networks. It realizes a fine-grained, multi-layer correlation of topology properties such as Shared Risk Groups (SRG) and latency to improve the IP service performance and resiliency. The data can be manually synchronized with other NSP functions, thereby achieving full integration.
IP/Optical Coordination also provides integration with external optical controller WaveSuite Network Operations Center and Resource Controller (WS-NOC/WS-RC), and Open Networking Forum T-API. Integration provides features such as optical service and link discovery, cross-domain link discovery, and topology retrieval.
IP/Optical Coordination API support
IP/Optical Coordination functions are available for OSS using programmable APIs. For general information about developer support, visit the Nokia Network Developer Portal at https://network.developer.nokia.com/api-documentation.
For specific information about the REST APIs for IP/Optical Coordination, append /sdn/doc to the server URL. For example: https://server-ip:8543/sdn/doc.
