To manage an OmniSwitch running configuration

When you reboot an OmniSwitch that is in service, it is service-affecting.

Ensure that the reboot activity occurs during a maintenance window.

Steps

In the navigation tree equipment view, expand the OmniSwitch object.

Right-click on a device and choose Properties. The Network Element (Edit) form opens.

3 

Click on a shelf object. The Shelf (Edit) form opens.

4 

Click on the Software Control Module tab.

5 

Configure the Command to Apply parameter.

  1. If you specify Copy certified to working, configure the Active Timeout parameter.

  2. If you specify Reload from working, configure the Delayed Activation Timer parameter.

6 

Save and close the form.
