To configure global-level MSDP

Steps
 

In the navigation tree Routing view, expand Network→NE→Routing Instance→MSDP.


Right-click on the MSDP icon and choose Properties. The MSDP (Edit) form opens.


Configure the required parameters.


Click on the Group tab to add a group. See To configure group-level MSDP for more information about how to configure a group-level MSDP.


Click on the Peer tab to add a peer. See To configure peer-level MSDP for more information about how to configure a peer-level MSDP.


Click on the Source tab to add a source. See To configure an MSDP source for more information about how to configure an MSDP source.


Click on the Import Policies tab.


Configure the required parameters.

Configure the import route policy to determine which routes are accepted from peers. The policies should match the policies you set when configuring the Routing Policy Manager, as described in Chapter 27, NE routing and forwarding . There is no validation performed by the router to ensure the policies match.


Click on the Export Policies tab.

  • Data Source Active

  • Data Source Active Rejected

  • Statistics

  • Faults
