Workflow to create dynamic services

Purpose

The following workflow lists the high-level steps required to configure an NE to process dynamic service requests. As a prerequisite for creating a dynamic service, this workflow assumes that the following appropriate preconfigurations have been performed:

• pre-discovery CLI modifications

• discovery including mediation configuration with CLI user name and password

• creation of python scripts to be called by the NE; for more information about creating dynamic service python scripts, and CLI operations supported for python scripts, see the 7750 SR OS Triple Play Guide.

• creation of RADIUS policies

Stages

1	Configure a RADIUS script policy; see To configure a RADIUS script policy.
2	Configure a dynamic service policy; see To configure a dynamic service policy.
3	Where required, configure a local authentication database, with binding to the dynamic service policy; see To configure a local authentication database.
4	Configure the NE for dynamic service; see To configure an NE for dynamic service.
5	Where data-triggered authentication is required, configure the dynamic service policy on a VPLS capture SAP; see To configure a capture SAP.
6	Configure a RADIUS-authenticated control channel. See the 7750 SR OS Triple Play Guide for more information about dynamic service control channels.
