To configure a local user database for subscriber host authentication

Purpose

Perform this procedure to configure a base local user database object on a local DHCP server. Additionally, you may need to configure IpoE hosts ( To configure IPoE hosts on a local user database ) or PPP hosts ( To configure PPP hosts on a local user database ) on the local user database.

Steps
 

Choose Manage→Residential Subscribers from the NFM-P main menu. The Manage Residential Subscribers form opens.


Choose Local User Database (Local User DB) and click Search.


Click Create Local User Database or select an existing local user database entry and click Properties. The Local User Database (Create|Edit) form opens.


Select a site for the local user database.


Configure the required parameters.


Click Apply.

Save your changes and close the forms.
