Overview

VLAN services enhance the traditional segmentation services that are provided by routers in LAN configurations by addressing scalability, security, and network management issues.

See the “Device VLAN support” matrix in the “VLAN service management” chapter of the NSP NFM-P Classic Management User Guide for information about the types of VLAN services that the NFM-P supports, by device type. The chapter also includes the prerequisites and workflows for creating different VLAN types.
