certified directory

The certified directory contains image and configuration files that are certified by an authorized user as the default files for the switch. If the switch reboots, the switch reloads the files in the certified directory. If a switch is running from the certified directory, you cannot save any changes made in the running configuration. If the switch reboots, the changes made to switch parameters are lost. To save running configuration changes, the switch must be running from the working directory. See also  working directory .
