How do I manually upload or withdraw optical SLRG and/or latency?
This procedure can be used to configure IP/Optical Coordination to manually upload or withdraw optical SRLG and latency information to the NSP host server.
|
|
1 |
Open IP/Optical Coordination, IP-Optical Correlation.
|
2 |
Perform one of the following:
-
Click IP-Optical Upload/Withdraw for all at the top of the screen to perform a bulk modification of IGP links.
-
Click More and choose IP-Optical Upload/Withdraw with an IGP link to modify that link.
|
3 |
Choose one of the following from the contextual menu:
-
Upload SRLG - optical Shared Risk Link Groups (SRLGs) are retrieved from transport controllers, correlated with the corresponding IP links, and exported into the NSP host server in order to ensure optical diversity
-
Upload Latency - optical latency information is retrieved from the WS-RC, correlated with the corresponding IP links, and propagated into the NSP host server in order to circumvent delay measurements within the IP layer
-
Upload SRLG and Latency - both SRLGs and Latency information are retrieved and uploaded
-
Withdraw SRLG - previously-uploaded SRLGs are withdrawn
-
Withdraw Latency - previously-uploaded Latency is withdrawn
-
Withdraw SRLG and Latency - previously-uploaded SRLGs and Latency are withdrawn
