To configure an 802.1x policy
Note: Before you can assign an 802.1x policy to a port, 802.1x must be enabled on the device. See To enable or disable 802.1X for information about enabling 802.1x.
Steps

Choose Policies→Ethernet→802_1x from the NFM-P main menu. The Manage 802_1x Policies form opens. |

Click Create. The 802_1x Policy (Create) form opens with the General tab displayed. |

Configure the required parameters. |

Click the RADIUS Servers tab, if required. Otherwise, go to Step 8. |

Click Create. The RADIUS Server (Create) form opens. |

Configure the required parameters. |

Click OK to save your changes and close the form. |

Click OK to save the policy and close the form, or click Apply to save the policy. See To release and distribute a policy to release and distribute the policy to NEs. |
