Common prerequisites for node power and optical power reports

General information

This section describes the common prerequisites for the following reports:

  • Node Power and Voltage Summary

  • Optical Power and Voltage Details

  • Optical Power and Voltage Summary

See the individual reports for prerequisites that are specific to each report.

Installation order for populating telemetry statistics

Telemetry statistics only populate if the following components are installed in the following order:

  1. Telemetry YANG files:

    • sros-port-telemetry.yang

    • sros-sfm-telemetry.yang

    • sros-chassis-telemetry.yang

    • sros-cpm-telemetry.yang

    • sros-card-telemetry.yang

    • sros-system-telemetry.yang

    These yang files are available in the SR OS device telemetry definitions (nsp-telemetry-yang-sros) and must be installed under telemetry modulesetname.

  2. Telemetry aggregator YANG files:

    For each telemetry YANG, the corresponding aggregator YANG needs to be installed.

    For example:

    For sros-port-telemetry.yang, install:

    • sros-port-ddm-telemetry-aggregator.yang

    • sros-port-laneddm-telemetry-aggregator.yang

    • sros-port-telemetry-aggregator.yang

    These yang files are available in the SR OS device telemetry aggregation definitions (nsp-telemetry-aggregator-yang-sros), and must be installed under md-aggr modulesetname.

  3. Telemetry adaptation artifact:

    • SR OS device telemetry adaptation(nsp-telemetry-cr-ct-sros)
