How do I associate a resource group with a group directory?

Purpose

Use this procedure to associate an existing resource group with a group directory. You associate a resource group with a group directory by copying the resource group from another group directory and pasting it to the first group directory.

Steps

Open Map Layout and Groups.

In the upper left-hand corner of the GUI, select from the menu the type of group directory to which you want to associate a resource group:

  • Network Element Group Directories

  • Port Group Directories

  • LAG Group Directories

  • Service Group Directories

On the Group Directories list on the left-hand side of the GUI, expand a group directory that contains the resource group you want to associate.

On the resource group you want to associate, click png1.png More, Copy.

Click on the group directory with which you want to associate the resource group and click png1.png More, Paste.

The resource group is listed under the newly-associated group directory.
