How do I configure user access in Log Viewer?
Purpose
This procedure describes how to grant NSP users enhanced access to Log Viewer. You must create special (non-NSP) roles within Log Viewer that specify access permissions within Log Viewer. These roles are mapped to an NSP user group, granting enhanced access to the group members, over and above the basic read-only access they already have within Log Viewer.

Open System Health. |

Open Log Viewer / Security / Roles |

In the OpenSearch Dashboards, Overview screen, select Security from the main menu. |

In the Get Started screen, select Roles. |

In the Roles screen, click Create Role. |

In the Create Role screen, specify a name and set permissions for the role. |

Click Create. |

In the updated Role form, click Mapped Users. |

In the Mapped Users screen, click Map Users. |

Enter an NSP user group name in the Backend Roles field and click Map. End of steps |
