How do I create a group directory?

Purpose

This procedure describes how to configure a group directory. After you create a specific type of group directory, you can add resource groups of the same type from within the group directory.

Steps

Open Map Layout and Groups.

In the upper left-hand corner of the GUI, select from the menu the type of group directory you want to configure:

  • Network Element Group Directories

  • Port Group Directories

  • LAG Group Directories

  • Service Group Directories

On the Group Directories list on the left-hand side of the GUI, click png12.png Add Group Directory. The Add a New Group Directory form appears.

Specify a name for the group directory.

Click Ok. An empty group directory is added to the Group Directories list.
