An NSP deployment that requires optical management functions must integrate with the Wavesuite product, which provides unified end-to-end optical management and support functions such as service provisioning and service assurance.

The WS-NOC application in Wavesuite can manage multi-technology optical transport networks that include SDH/SONET, carrier Ethernet, WDM, ROADM, OTN, and packet. Browser-based fault management provides network and service assurance functions, and an API enables OSS integration.
