LAG configuration

Prerequisites

  • Port Mode and Encap should be configured in the node.

  • System ETH-CFM, Domain, and Monitor-Oper-Group should be configured in the node if used in LAG.

Intents used

  • icm-logical-lag-access

  • lag_csros_23-10-1_24-4

  • lag_msros_23-10-1_24-4

To configure LAG
 

Under + DEPLOYMENT, select Logical.


Click on the + TEMPLATE and select the LAG. Click ADD .


Click + TARGET.


Select the NE from the list and click ADD.


Once added, select the NE.


Click on View/Edit Template Config.


Fill in the required attributes as shown below.

LAG attributes:

Port Threshold attributes:

IPv4 attributes:

IPv6 attributes:


Select the following port to add to LAG, then click UPDATE.


Set the LAG-NAME and LAG-ID, and click on DEPLOY.

Confirm that the configuration is Deployed and Aligned.

Log into NE and verify the same.

Log into NFM-P and verify the same. Right-click on LAG and navigate to Properties.

To configure LAG using lag_csros_23-10-1_24-4 intent

Prerequisites: Oper Group should pre-exist before associating to LAG.

 

Click on Development and select Logical.


Click on the template and select lag_csros intent.


Click on TARGET and select classic SR node.


Click on View/Edit Template Configuration.


Configure the following attributes.

Lag Interface attributes:

LAG LACP Configuration attributes:


Click on UPDATE.


Enter the LAG ID.


Click DEPLOY.


Check that the configuration is Deployed and Aligned.

Log into NFM-P and confirm the same. Right-click on LAG 76 and select Properties.

Click on TARGET and select NE.

Enter the LAG name.


Click DEPLOY.


Check that the configuration is Deployed and Aligned.


Log into NE and confirm the same.
