Quality of Service

To configure qos-network-queue_msros


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-network-queue-msros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG.
5	Enter the Description and click +ADD to add the QOS details.
6	Enter the following details, then click on ADD.
7	We can see the entry has been added in the list. Click on UPDATE.
8	Enter the policy name and select DEPLOY.
9	Verify that the configuration is Deployed and Aligned.
10	Log into NE and verify the configuration is deployed. End of steps

To configure qos-network-queue_csros


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-network-queue_csros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG and enter the required details. The entry will look as follows:
5	Enter the Displayed Name and select DEPLOY.
6	Verify that the configuration is Deployed and Aligned.
7	Log into NFM-P to verify configuration is deployed. Navigate to Policies > QoS > SROS QoS > Access Ingress > Network Queue.
8	Select the entry and click on Properties.
9	Ensure all the parameters are present. Queue details: CIR/PIR/FIR details: Burst Size details:
10	Log into NE and verify the configuration is deployed. Show command of the same QoS: End of steps

To configure qos-policer-control_csros


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-policer-control_csros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Create a policer policy by entering the following details:
5	Enter the policy name and select DEPLOY.
6	Verify that the deployment is Deployed and Aligned.
7	Log into NFM-P and navigate to Policies > QoS > SROS QoS > Access Ingress > Scheduler > Policer Control. Review the deployment properties and ensure they are present. Local Definitions details: General details: Arbiter details: Priority Level details: Level 8 details:
8	Log into NE and verify the configuration is deployed. End of steps

To configure qos-policer-control-policy_msros


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-policer-control-policy_msros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG.
5	Create a policer control policy by entering the following details. Create Priority attributes: Create Arbiter attributes:
6	Enter the name and select DEPLOY.
7	Verify that the deployment is Deployed and Aligned.
8	Log into NE and verify the configuration is deployed. End of steps

To configure qos-slope-policy_msros


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-slope-policy_msros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG.
5	Enter the following Slope Policy details:
6	Enter the slope policy name and select DEPLOY.
7	Verify that the policy is Deployed and Aligned.
8	Log into NE and verify the policy is deployed. End of steps

To configure qos-network_gsros (classic)


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-network_gsros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG.
5	Enter the required details. Dot1p attributes: DSCP attributes: LSP Exp attributes: FC attributes: IPv4 Criteria Entry attributes: IPv6 Entry attributes: Egress attributes: FC attributes: Egress IP Criteria attributes: IPv6 Criteria attributes:
6	Enter the policy name and select DEPLOY.
7	Verify that the policy is Deployed and Aligned.
8	Log into NFM-P and navigate to Policies > QoS > SROS QoS > Access Ingress > Network. Verify the policy is present and correct.
9	Verify that the entry is present in the list.
10	Click on Properties and navigate to the General tab. Verify the attributes are correct.
11	Click on the Local Definitions tab and verify that the attribute deployed from NSP are present.
12	Click on Properties and verify the Egress attributes.
13	Verify the Ingress attributes.
14	Log into NE and verify the configuration is deployed. End of steps

To configure qos-network_gsros (MD)


1	In Device Management, select Configuration Deployments. From the DEPLOYMENT drop-down menu, select Logical.
2	Click on +TEMPLATE and select qos-network-queue_csros.
3	Click on +TARGETS and select NEs. Select the NE and click ADD.
4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG .
5	Enter the following values for each attributes and click UPDATE. Ingress Default Action attributes: Ingress Dot1p attributes: Ingress Dot1p attributes: Ingress LSP Exp 1 attributes: Ingress FC attributes: Egress FC attributes: Egress IP criteria attributes: Egress IPv6 criteria attributes:
6	Enter the policy name and select DEPLOY.
7	Verify that the policy is Deployed and Aligned.

4	Click on VIEW/EDIT TEMPLATE CONFIG.
5	Configure the following attributes: Create Scheduler attributes: Create Tier attributes:
6	Enter the policy name and select DEPLOY.
7	Verify that the policy is Deployed and Aligned.
8	Log into NFM-P and navigate to Policies > QoS > SROS QoS > Access Ingress > Scheduler. Verify the policy is present and correct.
9	Click on the policy and verify the attributes are present under the Local Definitions tab. Scheduler details:
