In this step, you will create a common physical map layout for NSP map views. You can create your map layout with regions and zones, based on imported NFM-P equipment groups, or, you can create an empty layout and add regions one at a time.
Note: You can only create one map layout.
Steps

Click the Add New Layout button. The Add New Layout window opens.

Fill in the required information to create a background map layer:
Layout Name
NE Positioning - Geographic Coordinate System—Positions NEs using real-world latitude and longitude.
NE Positioning - Geographic Coordinate System—Positions NEs using X and Y diagram coordinates.
NE Positioning - Geographic Coordinate System—Imports top-level equipment groups from NFM-P as regions.
NE Positioning - Geographic Coordinate System—Imports top-level equipment groups from NFM-P as zones.
When you are finished this step, click OK to proceed to the next step.

Click the + Region button. The Create Region window opens.

Fill in the required information for the Identification section of the configuration form:
Region Name
Create this Region as Network Element Resource Group—Enabling this option will create a resource group to associate with role permissions.

Fill in the required information for Add NEs section of the configuration form:
Manual Entry—Import NEs by entering IP addresses or Router IDs (CSV or list)
Advanced Filter—Select NEs using advanced filter criteria.
When you are finished creating regions, press Submit.

When you are finished creating the map layout, click Continue to proceed to the next step.
