How do I automatically commit cross-domain links?

Automatic commitment enables the system to finalize cross-domain links that are discovered with high confidence through LLDP-based methods. When a CDL is determined to be reliable, it can be committed without operator intervention. This procedure allows IP/Optical Coordination to automatically commit newly discovered links as soon as they are detected.

Open IP/Optical Coordination, Cross Domain Link.

Click Morepng12.png and select Application Properties. The Application Properties form opens.

Select the CDL Auto Commit Policy tab in the form.

Select the Automatic option in the CDL Auto Commit Policy section for auto commit of cross-domain links.

Click Update. The Application Properties form closes.

The next time a cross-domain link is discovered, it is automatically committed.
