How do I install the NSP license?

Use this procedure to install your NSP license.

Note: This procedure applies to NSP license installation only. For NFM-P licensing, see NFM-P license management.

In order to install your NSP license, you must already have NSP installed or upgraded. This gives you access to the NSP CLM.

Once you have access to the NSP UI, follow the steps below.


1	Open Centralized License Manager (CLM) from the NSP main menu.
2	From the view selector, select Configurations.
3	Download the System Certificate Signing Request (CSR), which contains the system UUID and keys specific to your deployment. NSP uses the same UUID for both active and standby instances. The same UUID is also used after switchover.
4	Email the license request to your Nokia representative to request an NSP license key (also known as the NSP Routing key). The request is for one UUID and consists of the downloaded file (zip archive) and the NSP routing options for your deployment. In response, Nokia will prepare an Installation.zip containing all applicable NSP routing licenses, which can include nfmpLicense.xml, nspRoutingLicense.xml, and vsrnrcLicense.txt, depending on the NSP routing options selected in the license request.
5	Extract the Installation.zip file received from Nokia and upload the system license to NSP: Open Centralized License Manager, Network Pool Keys and click + Pool Key. Choose the file that contains the NSP Routing key (nspRoutingLicense.xml) and click Upload.
6	Optionally, upload any other license files you received from Nokia. End of steps
