Planning your deployment
Feature packages and installation options
An NSP deployment is composed of the NSP Base/Platform feature package, which includes the mediation options Model-Driven (Pluggable Network Adaptation) and/or Classic management, along with the selected feature packages included with your NSP license. Feature package licenses appear in the Centralized License Manager view in the NSP UI.
The following table correlates the feature packages in each software suite with the installation options you can specify during NSP deployment, and the license information that appears in the UI.

Notes:
In addition to the installation options in the table, the Service Activation and Configuration feature package also enables support of Service Manager features in classic management, which is deployed as an ancillary component and has no associated NSP installation option.
In addition to the installation options in the table, the NSP Developer feature package also enables support for the SDK (Software Developer Kit) component, which can be deployed on a different server than NSP, and as such has no associated NSP installation.
