About This Guide

This document provides the basic requirements to implement an MQTT protocol 5.0 within a device to interoperate with IMPACT for IOT.

IMPACT for IOT supports the MQTT using the publish subscribe mechanisms of the protocol. This document is focused on the core protocol aspects of IMPACT for IOT using String based resources.

IMPACT for IOT supports three types of security, using a token, using a pre-shared key, and integrated with a cellular network.
