Creating an SNMP management profile

Use this procedure to manually create an SNMP management profile.
Note: You cannot create a gNMI management profile.
  1. Navigate to the Management Profiles view.
    1. In the main menu drop-down list, click Inventory.
    2. From the view drop-down list, click Management Profiles.
  2. Click + CREATE MANAGEMENT PROFILE.
    The Create Management Profile form displays.
  3. Specify the name of the profile in the Name field.
  4. Optional: Set the Description field.
  5. Optional: Assign a label to the management profile.
    1. Click the edit icon above the Labels box.
      The Label Picker form displays.
    2. Locate the labels that you want to assign, then click + at the beginning of its row.
    3. When you are finished assigning labels, click SAVE.
  6. Set additional SNMP management profile parameters in the Profile Definition pane.
  7. When you are finished, click CREATE.
    The newly created management profile appears in the Management Profile view.
