Performing a software rollback

If a software upgrade is unsuccessful, use the following steps to rollback from the new release to the old release.
  1. Shut down and delete the deployer VM and Fabric Services System virtual machine nodes for the upgraded deployment.
  2. Deploy and configure the deployer VM with Release 22.8.1.
  3. Deploy new base virtual machine nodes.
  4. Restore the saved backup of Release 22.8.1.
