Purpose

This topic describes the steps to get the tomcat.pem certificate file signed by a Certification Authority (CA).

The CA returns a signed certificate that must be imported.

Certificate format

The Lucent CM system requires a signed certificate in the ASCII - PEM format. Importing a signed certificate in any other format result in a failure to import the certificate.

Supported certification authorities

The Lucent CM system supports any certification authority that issues signed certificates in ASCII - PEM format.

Getting the certificate signed by a CA
