Overview

Hard phone devices are provisioned at Lucent FS 3000 at the group level, using the Lucent FS 3000 web pages. The simplest strategy for creating devices is to add them in when the devices arrive and do them all as a block, and not wait for the user's to be created.

Device provisioning

The hard or softphone must be created prior to the actual power up of the phone. The phone itself may need to be pointed to a TFTP server where the Lucent FS 3000 is putting the CPE's configuration data.

Please note that not all hard or softphones download their configuration data from a TFTP server.
