View status of Lucent CM system and Lucent CM system servers

Purpose

This topic describes the steps to retrieve status information about the Lucent CM system and the Lucent CM system servers.

View system status using the Lucent CM Explorer administration client

Task StepsPerform the following steps to view the status of the Lucent CM system:

At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, click Lucent CM System .

Click System Info.

Click Refresh to ensure the latest status information is shown.

Result:  The parameter Reconfiguration Status displays if the Lucent CM system is reconfiguring. During reconfiguration the Lucent CM system cannot provide services.

View system server status using the Lucent CM Explorer administration client

Task StepsPerform the following steps to view the status of a server:

At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → System Servers and select the server.

Result:  The Server Info for the server displays.

Click Refresh to ensure the latest status information is shown.

Result: 

The current status information is shown in the following parameters:

Displays the current status of the server

Possible states are:

  • Up

  • Down

  • Starting

  • Stopping

 

Admin Status

 

Displays the administrative status of the server

Possible states are:

  • Up

  • Down

View system server status using the CLI

Task Steps

Log in to a node.

Change directory and start the high availability command line interface. Enter:

  1. cd /opt/lps/current/ha

  2. ./ha_cli

Result:  The HA login: prompt displays.

Enter a CLI login.

A CLI login can consist of any three characters.

Result:  The [enter_cmd]: prompt displays.

Display and verify the running applications. Enter

show.

Result:
