View status for services, connections, and users

Status information

Status information can be retrieved for different components of the Lucent CM.

The status information is useful to determine whether the components are available to provide or receive services.

Where to find status information

navigate to ...

 

Parameter

 

all connections

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, click Lucent CM System.

  2. Click Connection Status

 

The column Status displays the status of the connections. The Type column indicates the type of connection.

 

all ISG call logging connections,

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → Services → Logging.

 

The column Status displays the status of the call logging connections.

 

ISG call logging connection for a specific node,

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → Services → Logging

  2. Select an ISG logging service

  3. Click Details.

 

The column Status displays the detailed status per node.

 

all call server connections

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → Services → Call Server.

 

The columns Status and OMC-P Status display the status of connections to call servers and OMCs.

 

Call server connection for a specific node,

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → Services → Call Server

  2. Select a call server.

  3. Click Details.

 

For FS 5000 call servers, the column Status displays the detailed status per node.

For FS 3000 call servers, the columns OCI-C Status and OCI-P Status or CAP Status and OSS Status display the detailed connection status per node. 1

 

OMC-P connection

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → Services → Call Server

  2. Select an FS 5000 call server.

  3. Click OMC-P

  4. Click Details.

 

The OMC-P Connection Status shows the status of the connection between OMC-P and Lucent CM.

 

users,

 

  1. At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to Lucent CM System → Partitions → Users.

  2. Perform a search to display users.

 

The columns Disbled, Locked, and Active display the user account status.

 

Notes:

If the type of protocol the FS 3000 uses is not known, the column headers are labelled Call Status and Provision Status.
