Overview

The Lucent Communication Manager (Lucent CM) system provides easy-to-use interfaces for administrators and end users. Lucent CM offers a wide range of communication services to users.

End users use a web-launchable client as a single, integrated interface to access a wide range of services and applications that enable them to communicate efficiently. Lucent CM offers end users calling features, contact management services, logs, presence, enterprise features, and much more.

The interface is easy to use and can be customized to the individual needs and wishes of an end user.

Lucent CM web-launchable user client

Users access and manage services through a web-launchable client. The Lucent CM user client is downloaded on the user's PC for easy use by the end user. The Lucent CM user client can be customized and skinned according to the needs and wishes of an end user or groups of users. Services provided by the Lucent CM system can also be accessed using a mobile device.

Call servers

Call servers provide calling features for the Lucent CM users. Call servers are also known as telephony application servers.

The Lucent CM system support the following call servers:

End users can access calling features through a managed IP connection to the call server.

Administrators can administer the call servers via the Lucent CM Explorer.
